Following are just
a few of the letters that we've received from
patients who've had LASIK vision correction at LASIKfirst:

My
name is Ronald Rushton and
I'm 63 years old. I was told by many doctors that
I would have to wear reading glasses after lasik
surgery. I
was
strongly recommended to Dr. Stella Chou, M.D. She
was very thorough and presented me with all the
options and
helped me choose the best option. Now, only 12 hours
after surgery, I can see both far and near without
glasses.
I can see 20/15 this soon! I am so excited and I
would recommend her to anybody.

I would like to thank every member of your staff for
exceeding my expectations regarding the care I
received at
your facility. I was ready to walk out if I felt
uncomfortable at any time for any reason before the
actual surgery began. However, I was 100% satisfied with
everything about the experience. The waiting areas
and
surgery room could not have been more clean and
comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. The way
your staff
works together to genuinely take care of the patients and answer all the questions is
absolutely amazing.
I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I
chose you for such an important procedure.

My
name is Cody Steadman and my contacts bothered me for years. They always gave
me red eyes. Once I met with Dr. Chou and discussed
my
options, she won my confidence and I decided to have
lasik surgery. It was one of the best decisions I
have ever
made. I can see great and my eyes are never red. I would recommend her to anyone.

Just wanted to write a brief note to let you know
how pleased I am with your services. You have a great
environment and a very nice, attentive and
professional staff. Most importantly, I am very
pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I've
had practically no side effects and great vision.

Thank you all
at Valley Eye for your professionalism, willingness
to answer questions, and for my "new eyes!" Thanks
also, for
the careful and thorough eye exam and assessment of
my potential for lasik surgery.
After years of wanting some sort of permanent
correction, I saw advertisements for LASIKfirst and
called, hoping
you could help me. You were AFFORDABLE, CONVENIENT,
and had knowledgeable staff who answered all my
questions.
I was able to have my consult and correction on the
same day (important because I'm the head technician
at a
small, but busy veterinary practice, and needed to
minimize my time off).
I've needed heavy duty correction since first grade
(I'm now 45 years old). Since the time I cared about
my
looks, I've HATED having thick eyeglass lenses which
shrank my eyes, got scratched, and required the
yearly
expenses of lengthy eye exams, multiple eyeglass
purchases, and frequent contact lens orders. The
contact
lenses helped, but at the end of an 8 or 10 hour
day of pet hair, dust, and computer work, I wanted
to CLAW the
darn things out. And, I always knew I wasn't seeing
as well as I could because my astigmatism
interfered, and I
couldn't be 100% corrected.
I went from needing -8 correction in both eyes, to
having 20/25 vision, LESS THAN 24 hours after my
procedures.
My vision has gotten even better since then (and
that's just natural healing). I've seen my world
with a clarity
that I'd never experienced, even WITH glasses and
contacts. Yesterday, my sweetie and I had a great
morning
laugh after I reached for my glasses before I'd even
opened my eyes. More than 35 years of habit is hard
(but
not unpleasant) to break in this case.
Ken, Mike, Annie, Dr. C, and everyone--you are doing
great work by providing affordable vision correction
to
people.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the expertise,
concern, professionalism, patience, and skill which
you use to
help people like me. It was worth FAR MORE than I
paid!

I'd like to publicly thank the entire staff at
Valley Eye for their professionalism, courtesy and
no-nonsense
communication style. Correcting my 25 year
astigmatic near-sightedness was something about
which I was both
excited and nervous. I held back over the years for
two reasons: (1) cost, and (2) distrust of the
process.
I had been to other places in town, studied several
internet sites, and basically found myself confused
and
worried. This seemed like a big decision and there
were numerous things to consider. In my pursuit of
clarity
about Lasik, I was inundated with countless up-sells
and what seemed to me to be an over-emphasis on all
the
aspects of this process that could go wrong.
Somehow I thought, "If I go into this freaking out,
how likely am I going to do well?" By the end of
those Lasik
conversations, the review of multiple disclosure
statements, and several websites, I was truly in a
cloud of
confusion. Not only was I still nearsighted, but I
couldn't see through all the marketing fog, the
multiple
brandings of the same technology, and all the
various ways that I could insure my success. There
had to be an
easier way to make this decision.
Well, that's where Valley Eye came in. They were
straight-talkers, positive, encouraging, and
fearless. I am a
very detailed, high technical, former IT executive--probably not an easy customer.
What I
encountered with Ken was patience, intelligence, and
clear articulation. In plain English, I felt that
Ken was
being genuine: he said what he knew and I felt very
confident. But, do you know what I noticed? The
whole staff
is like that. What's why I'm writing to thank them
ALL.
One more thing: You might ask if the process hurt.
Well, it did for me but that lasted 3
seconds--seriously, 3
seconds. These folks were absolutely wonderful--they
spoke to me throughout the process, they assured and
encouraged, and do you know what? I'm done, happy,
and at 20/20.
